This review is on point. I think those involved will be very happy with it. The writer has clearly grasped the concept of the album acknowledges its context.

Remember this is Rolling Stone, they will never be shouting from the rooftops about an album, the thing to take away from this is that there is no negatives! And that's important, this is a great review for PIL2, it will spark peoples interest and have them wanting to make up their own minds.

It's good publicity...I cringed a little at the rehashing but I understand an outlet such as RS will do that...but the commentary on the album was well written...I did find what they said about Ross interesting...that he was supposed to be on the album...too bad that didn't work out...def. woulda helped get a buzz

Ja's fall from the limelight is very relevant to this album, The bad trip, so expect alot of rehashing in all reviews.

Pretty much exactly what I was afraid of, as mentioned in teh PIL2 thread. Other than that, sounds pretty solid though. Obviously the lack of features is the big pre-release issue

Personally, I am fine with it. I love Ja's music regardless of what mood he's in. It just sounds like he should have tried to off-set the tune a little bit more. I'll wait a few weeks before I give my opinion on an album I haven't heard though
